SAFE PROTOCOLS
LCCS has remained open for in-person instruction during COVID waves since the 2020-2021 academic school year. With constant communication, collaboration, and implementation of safety protocols, we remain optimistic to continue our mission in providing quality instruction while supporting the social and emotional needs of our students. See the list below of health and safety measures and protocols we continue to take:
- Morning temperature/wellness checks
- Masking highly encouraged for those with colds and allergies
- Social Distancing signage in hallways, classrooms, and outdoor campus
- Small class sizes
- Touch-free bathroom utilities
- Personal water bottles welcome in all classes
- Constant daily sanitation
- Middle school students attend classes in grade pods
- Middle school Google Classroom feeds updated frequently
- Mask wearing optional for outdoor recess
- Disinfection of outdoor equipment
- End of day classroom and building sanitation
