BIOGRAPHY

Mrs. Carreon began her teaching career at Las Cruces Catholic School in 2009, and I feels truly blessed to have been part of the LCCS family for so many years. She was born and raised in Southern California and has worked in education since she was 19 years old. She earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She and her family  moved to Las Cruces in 2005, and this community has become a very special part of their lives.

While attending college in California, she worked as a Bilingual Instructional Assistant, where she had the opportunity to work with students from kindergarten through sixth grade. After earning her bachelor’s degree and teaching credential, she accepted a position teaching second grade.

In 2009, she was blessed with the opportunity to join the Las Cruces Catholic School community as a second-grade teacher. She taught second grade for two years before beginning her journey in fourth grade in 2012. She quickly fell in love with fourth grade and has had the joy of teaching fourth grade ever since. After many years at LCCS, she continues to be grateful for the students, families, teaches, and staff who make this school a special place.  It is a privilege to watch my students grow and to be a small part of their journey.  I feel very blessed to call Las Cruces Catholic school her home.
