BIOGRAPHY

My name is Evelyn Grassel and I am proud to call Las Cruces Catholic School my new home.  I fell in love with education as a young girl due to the wonderful teachers I had in elementary and because I love helping students “get it.”

I have been teaching for 41 years.  During my career I have been a facilitating teacher, taught workshops, attended many local, state and national teacher’s conferences, Highland Teacher of the Year, Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year, a State Ambassador and a member of the Secretary’s Teacher Advisory for the New Mexico Public Education Department and Mr. Galaz’s Kindergarten Teacher!

My husband Kevin and I have been blessed with two children and one grandson.  Any spare time is enjoyed traveling, swimming, movies, visiting family and SHOPPING!

I look forward to sharing my wonder and excitement over God’s creations with my amazing students!
