BIOGRAPHY

Mrs. Garcia feels blessed to have been part of the Las Cruces Catholic School family since 2015.  It is especially meaningful to her because she has had the privilege of not only teaching here, but also watching her own three children grow and learn as students at our school.

She earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and History from New Mexico Highlands University, and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Social Studies from New Mexico State University.

As a Catholic educator, she believes that education is about nurturing the whole child academically, personally, and spiritually. She hopes is to help students recognize the gifts God has given them, develop a strong foundation of faith and character, and grow into kind, compassionate, and confident young people. She strives to encourage my students to become positive leaders who will use their knowledge, faith, and God-given talents to make a difference in the world.
