BIOGRAPHY

Mrs. Windy Drake has been a proud member of the Las Cruces Catholic School family for 19 years and is beginning her fourth year as Principal. Her journey at LCCS has been both professional and deeply personal, as all three of her children attended Las Cruces Catholic School from Pre-K through 8th grade. She has experienced the LCCS community not only as an educator and administrator, but also as a parent, giving her a unique appreciation for the school and the lasting impact of a Catholic education.

Mrs. Drake spent 11 years teaching in the classroom before moving into school leadership. Her years as a teacher helped shape her belief that every child is a gift from God and deserves an environment where they can grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. She later served as Assistant Principal before being blessed with the opportunity to lead LCCS as Principal.

Throughout her 19 years at LCCS, Mrs. Drake has remained committed to the school’s mission of providing an excellent Catholic education while nurturing the whole child. She is passionate about creating a school community where students feel known, loved, supported, and challenged to become the best version of themselves.

Mrs. Drake is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the dedicated faculty and staff, supportive families, and wonderful students who make LCCS such a special place. She believes
that the strength of LCCS comes from its strong sense of community and its shared commitment to faith, excellence, and service.

As Principal, Mrs. Drake looks forward to continuing the traditions that make Las Cruces Catholic School special while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation. After 19 years, her love for LCCS remains as strong as ever, and she feels truly blessed to serve the school community she has proudly called home for nearly two decades.
