SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Las Cruces Catholic School is proudly governed by a Board of Directors. Our board is comprised of a mix of LCCS parents, grandparents, and community members and all members are unpaid volunteers. Board members are chosen by the current sitting Board of Directors.
The LCCS School Board is led by a president and vice president who are responsible for hiring our school administrator(s) as well as establishing and updating our school policy. The Board meets in open, public meetings on the second Thursday of each month.
Individuals wishing to serve on the board should submit an application to the current board president.

CHRISTINE WRIGHT – PAST PRESIDENT
Christine Esquibel Wright CPA is a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University, and is co-owner of Beasley Mitchell & Co. LLP, an accounting and consulting firm in Las Cruces where she assists businesses and individuals. Christine has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2013 and has served as both President and Treasurer. Christine attended St. Gertrude’s School and Pius X High School in southern California which she credits with building the foundation for her Catholic faith.
Christine’s volunteer work includes leadership positions for the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA), the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, and various advisory boards for the Diocese of Las Cruces.
Christine and her husband Salomon are proud parents of four grown children and two grandchildren, and are members of Holy Cross Church.

LISA MAYNEZ – VICE PRESIDENT – FORMER LCCS PARENT
Born and raised in New Mexico, Lisa Maynez continues to grow her southwest native roots. A third generation Las Cruces Catholic School alumna, Lisa is proud to bring up her daughter in the same educational environment that built her own future educational and personal endeavors. Lisa graduated from Mayfield High School and earned both her bachelor’s (Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management) and master’s (Educational Management and Development) degrees from New Mexico State University.
Lisa recently began a new path in development with NMSU University Foundation in Stewardship and seeks to develop greater relationships with Aggies new and old. With the opportunity of her position with the board of trustees, Lisa is looking forward to building and creating lasting relationships among the community, families, and her alma mater, LCCS.
Lisa is passionate about advocacy with La Casa, Inc., and the Alzheimer’s Association. She enjoys yoga, traveling, biking, and supporting & watching her daughter in her many sports and activities.
