Biography

Mrs. Covarrubias is in her fifth year teaching Middle School Theology at LCCS. She is a native Las Crucen and a proud alumna of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School. Mrs. Covarrubias received her MA in Communication Disorders from NMSU and is a certified Speech Language Pathologist. She has begun coursework toward an MA in theology from the Augustine Institute.

In Mrs. Covarrubias’ free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading novels and thinking of ways in which she can inspire her students to know and love God in a deeper way.
