BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Northeast Louisiana, Sr. Sandra has been a lifelong Catholic and a Sister of Our Lady of Sorrows for 43 years. She feels very blessed that her vocation has given her the
opportunity to serve God and God’s people through Catholic education, leadership, and spiritual ministry.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from LSU, a Master’s in Religious Education from Loyola University, and a Master’s in Education from LSU Shreveport. I am also a certified Reading Specialist, Educational Diagnostician, and Spiritual Director.
Over the years, she has had the joy of serving in many roles in Catholic education—as a teacher, working with children with special needs, Assistant Principal, and Principal. She has also served her Congregation as the Delegate of the Superior General in the United States and as a member of the formation team. She is deeply grateful for all the educational and spiritual opportunities her Congregation has given her. Now, she thanks God for the gift of being in Las Cruces and for the privilege of walking alongside and serving the wonderful children and families of our school community.
